Our Classes

When It Comes To Swimming Practice Makes Perfect

Toddler Swimming Class

2–4 yrs | 3–4 per group

Water safety, familiarisation, breath control, floating and the foundations of confident swimming, all through play.

Pre-School Swimming

4–6 yrs | 3–5 per group

Building water confidence and safety skills through structured play, with foundational stroke technique introduced progressively.

Learn to Swim

6–16 yrs | 5–6 per group

Water safety, confidence building and foundational stroke development. Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke technique, plus floating and dives.

Stroke Development

8–16 yrs | 4–6 per group

Improving technique across all four strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly) with a focus on body position, arm action, kick and tumble turns.

Pre-Squad & Junior Squad

10–16 yrs | 4–6 per group

For swimmers with solid foundational skills ready to train competitively. Technique refinement, endurance, dives, tumble turns, underwater kicking and competition rules.

Private Lessons

All ages | 1-on-1

One-on-one lessons with an experienced instructor for adults and children. Ideal for swimmers with extreme fear, specific skill goals, or those needing extra attention. R1,250 per lesson.

What age can children start swimming lessons at Table View Swimming Academy?

Table View Swimming Academy currently offers lessons for toddlers from approximately 2 years old, as well as children, teenagers and adults.

Do you teach beginner swimmers?

Yes. Beginner swimming and water-confidence lessons form part of the academy’s programme, with teaching adapted to the swimmer’s current ability.

Does the academy teach water safety?

Yes. Water safety is a key part of the learn-to-swim programme, especially for younger and beginner swimmers.

Do you offer adult swimming lessons?

Yes. Table View Swimming Academy offers lessons for adults as well as children and teens.

Is the pool heated and indoors?

Yes. Lessons take place in a heated indoor pool, allowing a controlled swimming environment throughout the year.

Do you offer stroke correction?

Yes. Corrective stroke work is available for swimmers who already have basic swimming skills and want to improve technique.

Is a trial swimming lesson available?

The academy currently advertises a free 15-minute trial session. Confirm availability and booking details with the academy before attending.

Our swimming lesson fees are:
